As you are probably well aware, my name is Jesse Mulder. I’ve studied philosophy at Utrecht University (The Netherlands) since 2004, achieving my Bachelor’s degree in 2008, and my Master’s degree cum laude in February 2010. As from January 2016, I am employed as Assistant Professor at Utrecht University’s Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies.

From March 2010 until June 2014, I have worked as a full-time PhD researcher, still at Utrecht University, on a dissertation called “Conceptual Realism: The Structure of Metaphysical Thought”. I received the PhD cum laude. I completed this project in the context of Thomas Müller‘s ERC-funded research project “Indeterminism Ltd. An Intervention on the Free Will Debate“. Between September 2014 and December 2015, I was employed as a postdoctoral researcher at another Utrecht-based ERC-funded research project: Jan Broersen‘s “Responsible Intelligent Systems“. My research in that context focused on collective action and collective responsibility.
